What is Enviro Coop?

Environmental Services Co-operative Limited (or Enviro Coop Ltd) is an officially Maltese - registered co-operative created by environment scientists whose main aims are to promote and tackle environmental issues in various sectors.

Who is Enviro Coop?

Our consultants cover a wide range of expertise in environmental topics and thus offer these services to the community. The main sectors include education, building and construction industry, cleaner production in industry, solid and liquid waste generation, marine pollution and preservation and many others. Enviro Coop is based in Malta and Gozo (and the surrounding archipelago).

What is our definition of the environment?

Enviro Coop Ltd defines the environment as “Our surroundings and all conditions, circumstances and influences surrounding and affecting the development of an organism or a group of organisms.”

Since this definition is somewhat different from the prevailing Maltese notion of tying the environment with ‘street cleanliness’, we aim to change such a notion with a more holistic approach towards our environment.
